Scrubbed sprues and put together legs of Sentinel #2. Picked up a blister of two Dire Wolves and started putting together MH Goblin Wolf Rider for use with optional mounted rules. Base painted top of MH city wall tower.

How about a nice fieldstone ruined tower like Stephans? L corner blocks custom mold? Have noticed that my cast floor tiles are a little lacking in detail. Possibly the latex housepaint used to seal them was a little thick. May cast a few more and try painting them to see if there’s a noticeable difference?

Made mold of 1 1/2″ floor tile for castle wall. RTV went off very quickly but used the last of mine. Cast another barrel half as well. Glued stairs down to wall. Started basing tower. Parapet is a bit weak though. If floor tile casts ok I should probably mold another. Painted a touch of the first Hirst Arts experimental building. Foundations are completely finished and ready for varnishing. Painted some ‘bloody signs’ on the door. Got to finish the upper stories with a bit of painting and that will be another MH building ready for play. Picked up a massive sheet of 3mm MDF from ITM in Onehunga. Cost me a paltry $15 for as much MDF as I can stand. Certainly enough MDF to base all the Mordheim terrain I’ll ever build! My only concern is storing it so it doesn’t warp. Might have to cut the existing sheets in half and store them flat.

Finally finished those 2 lurking Imperial Guard Catachans! Painted Nurgle Plaguebearer for 40k. Started building MH city wall tower from top down. Preparing 1 1/2″ floor tile for molding.

Base prepared for wall, finished both sides of wall. Staircase next followed by parapet. Still experimenting with modular ‘teardrop’ towers for between wall sections.

Cut base for 1′ x 4″ high city wall. Cut and pinned foam card jig to build wall around. Must cast more flat wall bricks and mold custom floor tiles.

Casting as usual. Thinking of modular city wall. Would that be useful in MH? Went bananas with GS on the first Chaos Rhino. Not too bad but not great. Trying to detail the side hatches as mouths. Painting will be tricky.
