Painting Riser Block

Started painting riser block pieces. Covered archways interiors with flagstones cut in half. A little simple interior priming and I’ll be ready to fix the top on.

Assembling Riser Block

More work on Riser block, basic walls are built and I need to do some more casting as I’ve used up most of my horizontal blocks again. Also need to do at least one cast of the fieldstone bridge. Anyway a little more work and the riser should be ready to be painted/detailed.

Mordheim Riser Block

Started work on MH riser block. Might just have enough blocks to put it together without too many extra casts. Must finish detailing Mansion halves as well! Augh and then it’s out with the terrain paint again…

Turf War Mansion

Threw together second half of Turf War Mansion and did a little detail work on the base of Ben’s building. Once the two Mansion halves and Ben’s building have painted I should have enough terrain to last a while. Orcs and Goblins have been neglected for terrain, so will have to field a few half painted Goblins in the campaign. Ah well.

Palm Zire 71

A fair amount of work on the first half of the Mansion. Pretty much ready to start painting. Took a few photos with my new Palm Zire 71. Low res but not a bad wee camera for little snaps now and then. Might throw together second half as well today as it will be considerably simpler (just a high right angle wall section and some stone stairs to the first floor would be nice.

Update

Oops, forgot to update diary for a while. Turf War campaign has started and seems ok so far. Started putting together one half of a suitable Mansion building for the campaign. Painting a few remaining Goblins and Orcs for my Warband. Purchased a blister of Goblin Shamans and will use one to represent a Warlock hired by the Warband. Have put together a few little ruined fieldstone wall sections to accompany the stand-alone fireplace. Will glue one of them to the fireplace at right angles to make the base more stable. Don’t think I need a great deal more Mordheim terrain for this campaign, a two base Mansion and finishing up Ben’s building should do the trick.
