Picked up another set of Mordheim Skaven sprues from TradeMe. That gives me enough parts to assemble 30 Skaven. Probably enough for a Mordheim warband! For now they’ll lurk in the garage however.

+1 Grave Guard. VC Border Patrol is 98% complete. Finished the Grave Guard Champion, just the Standard Bearer left to go and he’s already base painted.

Shifted furniture around in the living room, revving up to doing the prep work to painting the ceiling in there.

The up and coming ‘Ogre Kingdom’ figures look interesting. Don’t know if I’d want a whole box of them, but one or two would be damned handy for Mordheim.

Right these three Grave Guard are all I have to complete to make it to 500pts of VC Border Patrol. I seem to have had some mental block for the last month or so on these damned guys. However they’re slowly progressing again. Might even have them finished for the next game.

I installed GIMP 2.0.2 only to discover the latest and greatest version doesn’t support all the custom Windows TrueType fonts I have installed from Cumberland Fonts. So I’ve gone back to GIMP 1.2.4 and will have to live with the older interface and the occasional crash.

I hate it when software ‘updates’ actually remove functionality.

Griff’s campaign has started up so I’m busy trying to finish off those Grave Guard. Got one to the base detailing stage and I’ve just primed the old 5th Ed Wight Champion. Just him and the standard bearer left to paint. I’ve also started painting Ghouls as well as the Zombies so I’m creeping malevolently towards 1000pts for WHFB.

+1 Zombie for WHFB. Got another 5 patched with green stuff and ready for priming. Detailed the second FOW armored car and am working on the last two universal carriers and the Stuart ‘Honey’.

+1 Zombie for WHFB. +1 Armored Car for FOW. Probably no painting tonight as I’ve got more crawling around in our ceiling to do.
