		<description>Ah yeah I guess macro mode uses a big aperture by default (to gather more light) resulting in a nice tight depth of field.  Nice effect though, it makes the whole scene look &#039;big&#039;.</description>

		<description>My skills are actually pretty minimal :). It&#039;s just the combination of mini-tripod, normal daylight (flash photography sucks for miniature photography) and macro mode.

The depth of field effect occurs because macro mode has focussed on the bridge itself so both the foreground and background are out of focus.

I really need a couple of &#039;sky/cloud&#039; posters I can put in the background of the mini shots. Possibly some print of a romantic period painting with lots of roiling clouds would do.</description>
