Flickr user binxpaint has taken some shots of upcoming releases from the Atlanta Games Day. They include one I found particularly interesting as it shows a City of Death modular plastic building sprue. There’s another shot too, this one is blurred unfortunately.

The plastic panels look like they could be very useful for general sci-fi terrain. It’s just a pity several on the each of the sprues seems to be battle damaged already. I would have preferred to have a sprue of entirely intact panels and then let us damage them ourselves. However it’s likely these two sprues don’t represent the entire range…

  1. in this month´s german White Dwarf there are several pics where the new buildings can be seen, altough not fully featured, but in the background.

looking very very nice, some neat ideas. gonna be interesting how much they cost.

  2. I agree, they look very interesting. Although as always I’m sure the GW price will be higher than you expect.

  3. Looks like 10 GBP a building basically…judging from this 100 GBP x 10 building set.

Or $30nz a building at today’s exchange rate. Yet another case of an interesting looking but far too expensive (for me) kit from Games Workshop. Particularly considering that $30 is roughly half a Hirst Arts mold which I can use indefinitely.
