I do like the Orcs I will admit. As anybody has seen me play my Mordheim warband will know :). Funnily enough I find the old Orc plastics totally inoffensive. Nothing wrong with them, don't know why GW are re-releasing!

Oh? Do you know something about what actually CHANGED in 7th Ed then? How does it impact the VC?

I think you should go for the orks Stu, they are a well hard army and a true display of ork power (unlike the sadly lacking in numbers Orks from 40k. As for the new ed warhammer its might be the only thing to save your vampire counts

No no Aaron, we're sticking with the 6th Edition of WHFB. I'm not going to pick up the new O&G Army Book, but rather play the 6th Ed one I already have.

This is just something I've wanted to do for a while, since I started playing the Mordheim Orcs in fact. I did a bit of scrabbling through my bitz and found I can easily assemble an additional 11 Orcs and goodness knows how many Goblins. In addition to the 12 or so I've already painted (including a Shaman) for my Mordheim warband.

I think whats is up with the Goblins is that well they got a really decent range of orks and they want to push the new models.Stupid as they may look the humble gobo spider rider is quite tactically use full with its wall climber ability. Hate the model not the troop. find better spiders and convert away.
