Bob, I'm not sure if they can do a Cthulhu-esque source book because of licensing restrictions since Chaosium still publish the Cthulhu RPG game don't they?

Having said that though .45 Adventure would be great fun in a Cthulhu setting (I used to play Chaosium's RPG game years ago) and it wouldn't be too hard to come up with some suitable stats for Deep Ones etc.

pulp .45 has me incredibly tempted at the moment, and if they ever release some cthulhu-esque stuff I'll be right there.

Makes sense to me! I've long entertained a hobbyist's fantasy of scratching up a Necromunda Scavvie gang from WHFB Zombies, Ghouls and greenstuff. Maybe with a Heresy Miniatures Ogre in there for the heavy support...

I enjoy the hobby aspect more than gaming (particularly for GW systems) but do still enjoy rolling the dice and moving away from GW systems has given me a lot of gaming pleasure in recent years with Flames of War, Pulp .45 Adventure etc.

I mostly display paint these days in the sense that I rarely get around to gaming. But my tendency to collect "sets" leads me to focusing on painting gangs/teams/warbands/occasional armies.

My hasslefree purchases are self justified in that at some point I'll use them as an escher gang for necromunda.

Maybe

Maybe that should be my next poll: Do you display paint?

I've never got to the point of purchasing a figure solely for display painting but I can see the attraction of simply attempting the best possible paint job you're capable of (and maybe trying a few new techniques to boot).

Artemis wouldn't look out of place as statuary with a marble finish in a 40k city ruin imho. Maybe she'd need a discrete Imperial Eagle or two though :)

Artemis is a very nice model, but I can't justify starting a whole new scale for a single model.
