Pulp Figures She Wolf Now that I’ve finished my Pulp German soldiers I find myself lacking a suitable villain to lead them, so I posted a comment over on the Back Of Beyond forums to see if anybody had any good suggestions.

The very next day Artizan Designs released 11 new ‘Thrilling Tales’ figures including the excellent Major Kreipe who definitely qualifies as an Evil Mastermind.

The gentlemen on the forum also made some other fine suggestions, including Pulp Figures She Wolves who would be great fun to have in an adventure. I notice Pulp Figures also sell a pack of Wierd Villains with an excellent Nazi in an iron mask and an amusing Professor Price figure. It’s just a pity you can’t order them separately!

  1. The Pulp figures you mention would make for some interesting villians. I never liked the idea of the second pack of 8 identical she wolves compared to the variety of the first but now I think if you painted them up with the same hair color and complexion you could have herr doctor’s first genetically developed squad. Either that or paint half with black uniforms and half with maroon and call them Squad A and B. :)

How’s the painting plan so far? I actually painted up a unit of 9 combat servitors in the past week. That’s 5 more minis than I painted in 2006. Wife left out a spending report for my 2006 mini purchases so I’m using that as a sign that my plan to curtail purchases in early 2007 is a good one. Now can I stick to it…?

  2. Yes, I can’t quite understand why any gamer would want EIGHT identical SS She Wolf figures? Particularly when the mixed pack of five contains such good figures.

Modelling in general has stalled, I’ve simply got too many things on the go at the moment and it’s summer down here in New Zealand which never helps! Believe me I’ll post things as I paint them.

Your wife knows how much you spend on figures! Crikey, that’s never going to go well :)
