I forgot to mention how excited I am about your plans to create some steam trunks, suitcases, and hat boxes. I think you could get in on the ground floor of the small but growing pulp terrain market. Know that I'd buy some.

Nice scenario :). I still have about 80% of the cathedral cast and kicking around under my gaming table. One day I'll get around to sticking it all together...

Nazis seeking a certain musical family (and a religious artifact or two) run afoul of a cast of clever nuns (Mordheim Sisters and/or Shadowforge nun gridiron players) and the two ton steam powered guardion robot they keep in stasis for just such occasions. Wasn't Stu working on a cathederal at some point? :)

Actually I was re watching The Mummy and pretty much every scene would have made for a good pulp adventure... anyone know of any other good pulp style movies?

You know I watch a movie a dozen times, then watch it with the directors commentary and they point a heap of things they carefully crafted that I never noticed before!

Good way to make a campaign is to pick your favourite sceens from 3 or so movies, take the core idea but change the location and characters... no use reinventing the wheel.

EG. Ball room sceen from one of the indiana jones movie followed by The race to the temple from the mummy and finally end up with the cradle of life scene (boss battle) from tombraider 2.

You could mix it up with sci fi movie infulence... Once you know whats happening you might find it easier to flesh out the story

Ah I see, a crazy sort of bribery! I would be more than happy to run a campaign but my mind goes blank when I try and come up with missions. I've started reading through the the .45 books in the hope it will come together...

I've also got a nice collection of pulp figures now too so that might help inspire me! Well... if I ever get them painted!

I'm secretly hoping if I can supply an entire cupboard of painted 28mm Pulp terrain and figures one of you gents will get inspired enough to run a campaign :).

Individual crates are in resin because I anticipate them getting knocked around a bit because I want to throw them around the table, chuck them in the back of trucks etc. You're right regarding the detail though, there's probably nothing stopping me from casting them in UC30.

Yep those look pretty sweet and this pulp adventure is gonna look damned proffessional if you custom make terrain for each adventure!

So why are these made of resin rather than plaster? They dont (to this layman) look any more detailed than the sand bags you made out of plaster.

Thank man. I'm actually looking forward to painting them because I want to put a few white DAK palm tree stencils on a couple. I've got to cast a bunch more first though.

I also have plans to build some 28mm scale trunks, suitcases and hatboxes for the first scenario of the next campaign. These will probably take a little longer though because I'll have to sculpt details on with green stuff...

Once again, very nice... those Ebob ones are a tad small, especially for the 'flavour' of Pulp...
