You may be smarter than you think about the lack of markings – any of the pictures I found seemed to be pretty much unmarked, perhaps deliberately due to their scout role. Even then, my copy of Ballantine’s “German Armor” shows line after line of Mark I Panzers about to go on manoeuvre, not a marking in sight.

Thanks, yes the whole vehicle could do with a little more detailing. Airbrushes and spray cans make painting easy! Although airbrushed paint does tend to dry slower I find.
