I should have know when I started this poll that you, my gentle visitors would vote for the largest, most complex outstanding project I have in the garage. I can only think you’re mostly Hirst Arts fans, or you’re mostly sadists!
At any rate I’m closing this poll with my Hirst Arts Cathedral project being the clear winner, followed by the second 15mm building facade. I’ve started working on the Cathedral again and hope to have the basic floor glued down this week, naturally I’ll post that once it’s done.
Unfortunately, despite the fact the last poll was an effort to pick an existing unfinished project to complete, I’ve just started another new project! Fortunately this one will be fairly quick to do and has a strict deadline. I’ll post about that this week too.
Stu – are you going to complete everything on that list in the order that we voted?
I think certainly the first two on that list should be completed. After that I’m not so sure. The DAK Germans really should be painted, but the last figure I applied paint to was actually a 15mm Carthaginian Hoplite.
Careful what you commit to Stu, even at my optimum pace that list is still a good years worth of work… two kids has drained my modeling down I have been trying to finish the last 5 of my chaos terminators (just the arms and a few little details for at least a month and a half…

I think most of Stu’s visitors are closet FOW fans, but their vote got split between the Facade and the DAK… 35% voted FOW…. ;o)

Hah yeah Dustan, you’re right about the time involved. However I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus recently with the arrival of Harry and this blog has slowed a little because of that.
However I’m feeling strangely revved up for some serious modeling now. I’ve picked up some water based ‘Liquid Nails’ and hope to find some time this week to experiment with it. If it works out well we should see some progress on the Cathedral.
I haven’t tried the water based version but if its anything like the regular thiner based on it can be quite a messy glue. I dunno if it will change the properties of the glue by diluting it, definitely drying time (longer) but it might also effect its grip.
Also it can skin really fast so make sure you use a dollop of glue for about 20 minutes. If you know all this ignore my 2 cents. =]
Let us know how it goes though cause I hate the cleanup on the thinner based ones.
