When I read your first sentence, I thought you were going to say, "It's been 6 months since I left the house." - that cathedral looks like it has taken you weeks and weeks to complete! I've long considered getting a Hirst Arts mold kit, but so far I have been sticking to foam core, balsa wood and that blue builder's foam. I found an entire 3 x 8 ft. sheet of it in a construction site dumpster!

And maybe once you get it finished, it may be worth a lot of money. These Hirst art pieces sold for a total of [US]$198 Million:

Hi Tankred, as the Cathedral splits on the left gallery I had considered casting up enough pieces to build another floor and just using scraps to build up an angled, ruined version of the left gallery. However this is probably far in the future considering the amount of time it's taken me to even get this far!

Hirst Arts is good looking, but the casting process is really time consuming. However the cathedral is an outstanding work - Bruce designed it great and your model is very nice so far.

On the other hand this cathedral could be converted instantly in an chathedral ruin with just a few additions of damaged parts and rubble ;)

Smells like another project comming on. You could always look for card railway buildings, they church would be the objective so would be the only one you need to get inside unless you made the houses with removable roves and decorated the inside

Hmmm, that -would- be very Indiana Jones wouldn't it, but won't I need an entire 28mm village of European buildings to place around it?
