Fallout 3 is why I havent written the other 2 parts of the hero quest article for you Stu, I thrashed it on my 360 and now have all the acheivments so its gone back on the shelf.

It is a beautiful game that has inspired me to hook into a new project. I have been having all be ciggy breaks in the garage and have been working my way through 16 feet of modular necromunda terrain. I have cut 16 one foot squares of 2" green pollystyrene of which 4 will be nearly featureless I have finished building 2 structures and 3 of the blank squares.

Of course in true Dustan fashion the project has already spun out of control as I couldnt resist making a 2'x 1' tile, which has its building and just needs a little sand and gravel to be done.

I aim to finish that tutorial before Xmas, which certainly should be possible now I'm over the worst of the Fallout3 habit!

Looking back on this year I've been very unproductive hobby wise, mainly because of things going on in the family and having a young baby in the house etc. etc. Here's hoping 2009 is a better year all around.

Heh, and I was wondering what happened to 'part two' of the very cool road project!

I have to admit that all my miniatures projects are on hold as well due to Fallout 3 and Christmas; a combo too hard to resist.

When I surface, I'm looking forward to trying the method you describe for making some roads for my 20mm Vietnam gaming.

Take your time & have a happy holiday season!
