Excellent.

I'm thinking we may go 750pts and only 1 flight of tiny tokens to try and get the game finished?

I'm going to re-try last weeks tactic tonight although I'm not as confident against the dirty prussians.

Oh, and if you get a chance to print out the rules update that would be great as I dont have it and after printing out lots of GW stuff am out of ink at home...  Undecided

Also I reckon we break out the cards tonight.  (if you brought them).

Should have ended that game a turn earlier, got home at a decent time and maybe the game would have been drawn... Tongue

You try the cards? Any good? Did anybody's robots last past turn two? Or did they spontaneously annihilate each other?

We did try the cards and will definitely use them again.  They added a bit more randomness but didn't really slow the game down at all (except for reading them).

At the end of the game 3 of the 4 robots were still in play although jonathans second robot was down to 1 HP.  Both my robots where unscathed (altho my battleship was down to 1 HP).

It was a good game, played out a bit more normally that the last couple with no magazine explosions.

It was a good game - the cards are great.  The game started off in Aaron's favour because of my failure to roll any decent dice, but then in the middle of the game my battleship attacked his and my torpedo bombers attacked as well, all getting through and dropping their load, giving me about a squillion dice to roll, but then just as I though the game was turning my way, the dice turned against me once more.

Arron probably had a better handle on tactics as well, as my first move was a suicide mission....

Nice map set up though, with well placed islands funneling most of the action to one spot.

Minor/Major victory to Aaron.

Heh, you do seem to favour the 'suicide' option quite often Jonathan Wink
