Mosgiel is a odd place btw. it has lots of milk bars.

Any opportunities for a bit of the old ultra-violence?

I'm alarmed that you're making Clockwork Orange references Aaron. Quite alarmed. In fact I'm readying the eyedrops.

Not realy any chance, I had a couple hours to kill and after my trip to Dunedin to day to visit Aargon hobbies where I brought another bottle of delvan mud and a gryphon sepia wash ($7 a pot) damn it, resisting the urge to blow about $100 on malifaux figures reasoning that i should paint what i have and save up to buy all the gremlins i need at once =[

I already have not buyers regrets... Ahh well, up to AKL in a fortnight where Vagabond have cheaper prices on stuff and i can go see if the birkenhead model shop still sells jordan static grass for $6 a big bag.

Best not to say more. Bedways is rightways now

Whelp I've reached level 13 and tried all 5 maps and all 3 game modes and been invited to join a random gang in some turf war meta game, so I think I've hit most of the major features of the game and get you a review before the week is out Jonathan. Not a bad wee game for an XBLA title, it's pretty chokka with features and unlocks (yes, some are massively unbalanced, like the combat sportsbow sniper option. Yay! One shot kills) and the first DLC (including a new map) will be free! So hopefully it has some legs. It's a good game for a little 30 minutes of mindless violence. Of course, for 5 of those minutes the matchmaking will be trying to find you a game if you're based in NZ, but c'est la vie.

Says 'official' but it's the slim. I've got around 16gb free on my 160gb drive but could probably clear out a buncha stuff.

OH HAI JONATHAN, UPDATE TO GCI. The first free DLC is ALREADY OUT and the matchmaking does seem slightly improved (still flakey as hell for me, until you get into a game but once you're there it seems pretty sweet). The new FREE map is quite nice. Battling on top of a Gotham City skyscraper! Actually looks a lot like the building from Ghostbusters.

I'm still playing GCI instead of BF3 while my gaming bud is moving from California back to Texas via a two week road trip and it's still good fun.

Ok no I think they've ironed out the bugs a bit more. I had a thoroughly enjoyable round of GCI last night. It's rapidly becoming my 'easy no-stress FPS of choice'. I've moved on from the grapnel gun and am now rocking the roller skates + 'The Hammer' (an M60 clone basically) to p0wn people at high speeds with heavy fire. Roller skates are particularly excellent for the 'Fumigation' levels which are like Conquest or Domination (three gas machines to capture and hold to gas the opposing team to death). I can zip between them and use my hard earned BF3 Conquest skills to steal machines from the other team for a sweet +500pts each time.

People have stopped using the sniper bows and have started using the new Katana for kills at point blank. I'm getting very good at backing away from Katana wielding clowns or bats at high speed while filling them full of lead.

Download the demo! You get a 60 minute time limited trial! I'd love some back up clowns/bats to roll with.

Still near the top of the XBLA games played which is great because it really is a good game. Looking forward to some paid DLC hopefully...
