The urge is building again. And I have all those shiny new paints AND I've almost finished the Dystopian War force...

Bloody Skyrim!

Spent a couple of hours yesterday painting up that CoA battleship. Almost done! Might finish it tonight. That's the main fleet done! Suppose I should paint the Fleet Carrier + Escorts too. I'll probably have time to do that before the Blazing Suns naval box arrives. Also I realised the other reason to buy Blazing Suns! THEY HAVE A NAVAL SQUID which is definitely on my 'purchase' list Smiley.

Dammit. Now I want Maelstrom to ship my Blazing Suns Smiley. Oh well, guess I can crack on with the other three Escorts and Fleet Carrier. Oh no wait, Icarus flyers first! Definitely.

I'm sort of time limited too, because the shitty Games Workshop paints I'm using for the Antarcticans (Codex Grey, Fortress Grey and Space Wolves Blue) are all rapidly drying out on my paint station. Fucking Games Workshop paints, what a waste of money.

I'm hoping I can prize the Imperium Skyfortress out of Jonathans hands tomorrow and then paint that whilst waiting for the french arrive... I have an honest face, you can trust me...   Grin

It turns out in the background fluff the prussians convinced the french to go to war with the british so I'm sure you guys will let me field an allied sky fortress in my French force!  Nothing like a massive armoured aircrafter carrier to keep the French fleet heading in the right direction.

Sure, up to the point where it becomes the deciding factor in you sinking my battleship ;-)

Yeah that's it. That's the paint scheme I'll use for my Blazing Suns. Hell with trying to paint them red first Smiley.

It's so cheap too. You know what it is? PRIMER with red painted details and then dipped. That's almost zero effort.
