Now, how can I convince Kristina that a $10k pledge is worth getting to collaborate with the design team and getting game designer credit...

Heh. Never owned an Amiga myself Smiley. Yeah there's lots of good retro games on Kickstarter like this one!

Dammit I was going to pledge too but they got funded already.

Uh yes, Carmageddon.  I never owned it but my best mate did.
After finding this kickstarter I fired up my Amiga Emulator and revisted the original.  the "3D" flying segments are truly awful but the other bits are still pretty good.  Its funny how the music was instantly recogniseable and brought back many happy memories.

The only downside about the Wings: Directors Cut is they seem to be doing every platform except XBL Arcade.  This seems like the perfect title for an Arcade game but I suppose that is a seperate (and expensive) development.

Yeah publishing on XBLA is an expensive exercise fraught with red tape from what I've read of various indie games. Steam is apparently much more developer friendly. Yeah I have fond memories of Carmageddon, but I suspect it probably won't age well which I guess is why I never got around to funding it.

Well at the time it was so reviled/revered in equal measure but in todays era where beating prostitutes to death goes unremarked its probably just a bit tame.  Still I'd be keen to give it a whirl.
