As a feckless youth I was introduced to the Rogue Trader Edition of Warhammer 40k and collected large Space Marine and Imperial Guard armies. Some 18 years later (in 2002) I came across these dusty soldiers when my parents sold the house I grew up in. I cleaned them up, updated them to 3rd Edition and to my surprise found I still enjoyed the odd game of 40k now and then.

It was also in 2002 that GW Australia re-launched Mordheim in New Zealand and I picked up the boxed set as an excuse to paint some of the fine Warhammer Fantasy figures. It was a sound investment as in my opinion Mordheim is one of GW's finest gaming efforts.
