Modelling - Coach House

Started: 18 Oct 2003
Measurements: A 10" x 6" base and will be about a foot high in four stories.
Material: Foam card and Hirst Art blocks so far...
Base: 3mm MDF as usual.
Detail: The arrival of three new gothic molds from Hirst Arts inspired me to start creating this mixed fieldstone and gothic block coach house. The mix of fieldstone and gothic stone work is roughly modelled on the Auckland Town Hall which is built with a mixture of dark gray volcanic basalt for the foundations and creamy limestone for the upper floors.
