Modelling - Fountain

Measurements: A 6" diameter fountain intended to represent the 'magical pool' for Mordheim multiplayer battles.
Material: 3mm MDF, DAS, Woodland Scenics Water Effect and various plastic sprue parts.
Base: 3mm MDF covered with kitty litter and model railway ballast.
Detail: This is possibly one of the most disappointing of my modelling efforts to date. The fountain was intended as an experiment in applying water effects. I built and painted it and then tried to fill it with Woodland Scenics 'Plastic Beaded Water'. This was a total disaster. To this day I don't know if I heated the plastic beads incorrectly or if my bag was old stock but I can safely say that I am never going to use that Woodland Scenics product again. See my modelling diary for details. Fortunately the fountain was salvageable.
