Modelling - Mansion for Turf War

Started: 18 May 2003
Measurements: Same base size as the Stables and about a foot high - it's a 6" fall from the balcony!
Material: Foam card and balsa wood with a stone Hirst Arts floor and internal staircase. A couple of pieces of the Mordheim building sprue were used to decorate the roofline.
Base: 3mm MDF as usual.
Detail: Inspired by those battle reports in The Best of Town Cryer and the Turf War campaign I'm running. The Mansion will be represented by two separately based building ruins that can be placed side by side for a large Mansion or scattered around the tabletop for a couple of buildings. I'm currently trying to think of a decent paint scheme - possibly something emerald greeny. These photos were taken with a Palm Zire 71, not the best digital camera in the world but very handy for quick snaps.
