Modelling - Wire Tree

Measurements: About 8" high.
Material: Galvanized garden wire, gesso, das terracotta clay.
Base: Hmmm none yet.
Detail: Surfing the web I found several model railroading site with instructions for building wire trees. I couldn't find any suitable (ahem and cheap) model trees locally so just starting twisting wire in the garage. As a first attempt I don't think it's too bad so far. Have based it on a bit of MDF and am going to construct a sort of 'mini hangman's graveyard'. This was actually Griff's idea but I've gleefully stolen it. Means this is more of a 'fluff' piece than anything but should look ok next to the Guillotine, Fountain and Statue, which I'd also qualify as 'fluff' pieces. The wire tree was covered with air drying DAS which was textured with an old toothbrush before it had dried.
