Planning the stone stairways for the fortress walls. Will go with a 45 degree straight stairway I think with arches underneath to reduce the number of Hirst Arts fieldstone blocks req’d. Means I’ll have to make so removeable ‘stands’ to support models on the stairways for Mordheim but that’s not a biggie.
Started experimenting with wall colours too. Don’t want to paint the castle your stock gray. So I’m looking at earthy warm tones. Base with a coffee brown (Resene ‘Barrista’) and work my way up from there.
